ABOUT
Dr. Jean Anne Rogers has been serving Murfreesboro since 1979. Her office is conveniently located near the Historic Murfreesboro Square.
She understands that there is more to seeing than meets the eye. Many people believe they only need an eye exam if they wear glasses or contact lenses, but Dr. Rogers knows that routine eye examinations are essential for eye health. Many diseases are diagnosed or managed through eye exams. Dr. Rogers provides thorough, caring, wholistic eye exams for each of her patients.
Dr. Rogers is highly recommended for work with children. Many times, difficulty in school is the result of underlying vision problems. Special examinations determine visual efficiency⏤the ability to seamlessly process visual information. Dr. Rogers will provide you with the best care, advice, options, and follow up.
A Fellow in the Tennessee Academy of Optometry, Dr. Rogers has been practicing optometry for over 30 years.
She is an active member of First United Methodist Church and a longtime community leader. She chaired the Murfreesboro Power Board for over 10 years. She served as a representative to the Tennessee State Board of Education for 9 years, and was a past President of Rutherford CABLE, Siegel High School PTA, and Murfreesboro/Rutherford County League of Women Voters. She also served as Secretary of United Way.
In 2011, she was the Athena Nominee from Rutherford CABLE, and she has been recognized with the Ruthie Awards for Favorite Optometrist. She and her husband, Judge Mark Rogers, have been recognized as volunteer couple of the year. They have three precious daughters.
